Wining, Dining and Wellness

As I am writing the post I am in Lyon ( short work trip) and realized that if I do not post the pictures now I will never find enough time to do it…worked yesterday till 3 so soon it will be bed time for me – hopefully :)

But coming back to the trip, the wine trip was of course not (only) about consumption but mainly about visiting the wineries. Oh, strolling around the grapevines so relaxing…the only thing which could make the picture more perfect would be me wearing a long airy and silky dress…maybe next time ;) I kind of always wished to spend part of my summer in the countryside at a winery or travel from one to another….eat grapes in the morning and taste wines in the evening… Here more modern version of that dream trip :)

Or maybe I’ve just seen Sideways one too many times..

On the pictures last impression from our wellness SPA.. going outside of the main season has in perks – sauna , Jacuzzi and swimming pool just for 2…, further pictures from wineries and some last grapes which survived the harvest season and last hours in Budapest just before we almost missed the flight back…

If you missed previous posts about Hungary see them here, here and here.

Wearing silk shirt from Massimo Dutti  - a little bit transparent,  few sizes too big, and with big pockets – exactly the way it should be, jeans from Reply ( here comes the solution to all of us with a little bit of curvy shapes – if you carrying around  little bit of hips and a little bit of ass the Radixes model is for you – trust me ;) … I am so glad that most of the jeans companies woke -up and realized that we women have different shapes ..) , animal belt from Mango , necklace from Sweet Child, shoes from Topshop and brown handbag from Massimo Dutti.

Investment Pieces: Camel Coat

ANYONE WITH PALE COMPLETION AS MINE knows (hopefully) that beige is not our color…majority of shades change us into walking zombies so most of the time no matter how trendy the color gets I try to stay away from it…and as much as I can resist the trends the timeless elegance of the camel coat (and the fact that I could not find one that suits me) kept me awake at night…that is till I found this beauty from All Saints (you may see similar in navy blue here). The camel version of the coat is partly made of real camel hair and has laser cuts both giving the coat beautiful texture. For some reason this beige works (I would not say perfectly but I guess this is as good as it can get). Really good investment piece…

I went all the way with the light winter shades:  light grey wool dress from Mango, beige handbag Uterque (found during my trip to Athens some time ago) , brown leather gloves and grey hat which I bought at some boutique in Poland. The shoes are black suede pumps from Kurt Geiger…but more about them soon.

Thinking Hats

Untitled-2I REMEMBER THERE WAS A TIME when wearing a hat was very uncool. You know the times when you were about 12 and your parents would always remind you to put one on before leaving (or were that just my parents?) …and then again when being a bit older the hat meant flat hair (do not try to deny it, there was a time you cared I am sure) …and even though I quickly realized  the comfort of having a warm head and was putting my hat on already early autumn it was never  really cool to wear a hat…it seems now all that does not matter any more….the hats are back…
